A Message To Church Leaders
Are you a church leader? Do you use the NIV or another modern bible version'? Are you interested in finding out more about the subject of the King James Bible and modern versions? We would be delighted to help you in this regard. We have been able, by God's grace, to help church leaders, evangelists, others in ministry and general church members to make informed decisions about this issue.
It's so important, we believe, that all in church leadership sincerely seek the Lord about this whole subject and really take time to look into it, especially bearing in mind the awesome responsibility that they have in leading their congregations. We will all have to give an account to the Lord Jesus Christ one day. The question of how we honoured His holy word and how we responded to warnings about corruptions of His word might come to the fore on
that day. We dare not let pride or prejudice stand in the way of seeking the truth.
It would not be wise, we believe, to brush this issue aside and simply say, "Most Christians today use the NIV, so it must be OK and if there was a problem, this or that famous preacher/Bible teacher would have expressed his concerns and this or that Bible college would not be using the NIV.
The fact is that concerns about corrupt 'bibles' have been raised by many learned and respected Bible scholars, Bible teachers and preachers over the years. We should be ready to take these concerns seriously and ask God to show us the truth. Jesus said, 'Ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:'
Matthew 7:7
The first attack against God's word came in the garden of Eden with the insidious words of the serpent, "Yea, hath God said ..." Genesis 3:1, Satan has not ceased to attack the word of God. Do you really believe that he would have used all possible means to deceive the world except through attacking the Holy Bible and creating counterfeit 'bibles'? The Bible says: 'For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.'
Ephesians 6:12
We, in The King James Bible Fellowship, want to help you to discover the jewel that God has given to us - His pure and holy word - and to be able to stand in the pulpit and know with 100% confidence that you are preaching the pure and perfect word of God!
The Bible says: 'The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.'
Psalm 12:6-7
God has kept His promise. He has preserved His pure words! The King James Bible is the pure, preserved word of God.
1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
Proverbs 2:1-6
